Conference: ProbioactiFAP® and equine microbiota management

Isabelle Delporte presents FAP® technology and ProbioactiFAP solutions® from the Equine Process® Range

At the NORMANDY HORSE MEET UP on September 26, 2024, Isabelle Delporte presented FAP® technology, the products in the Equine Process® range (Flore Process®, Equi Process®, and Post Act Process®), and the results of various studies, in particular:

• a study conducted as part of a veterinary thesis supervised by Prof. Véronique Julliand, which demonstrated the impact of ProbioactiFAP® on the rapid establishment of a functional microbiota in newborn foals and a 4 times faster recovery of mares after foaling
• a study conducted in collaboration with the Clinique du Fléchet on cases of chronic maldigestion in senior horses, showing significant weight recovery (+4%) within the first 10 days of ProbioactiFAP® supplementation, including the restoration of muscle mass.

The numerous questions following the conference reflect the interest in caring for the equine microbiota.
