2025 Pigeon Racing Conference: Predicting Breeding Performance and Health Status
In collaboration with the Roost-Warendin town hall, the L’Avenir pigeon racing society, and its president, Original Process organized conferences on the topic of "DNA" to predict pigeon performance and health. Dr. Lanneau, a veterinarian specializing in pigeon racing, and PiGen presented DNA testing using feathers to optimize the selection of breeding stock. Isabelle Delporte from Original Process presented the importance of the pigeon microbiome and the measured effects of its "FAP" technology (Aviflor®) on optimizing microbiome balance and diversity through metagenomic DNA analysis. Several pigeon fanciers shared their performance results and their experience with the Aviflor® range.
